The Dispossessed is a 1974 utopian sci-fi novel by writer Ursula K. Le Guin & is also the borrowed title of this work.

This work is a reference to the utopic, divergent, familial structures in the book. It is a representation of a mother and child.

This work was created from an original photograph, created with a diorama, string, bits of old fabric, a backdrop photo of a local(ish) pink lake and 2 decor balls hanging off of a c-stand!.
