Earthly delights and the spaces inbetween – Audrey (virtual)
These biomorphic forms are imaginings for new modes of being. The human and the non-human. From one side of a binary way of being to the other; these are the spaces in-between. The analogue folded into the virtual. They are an attempt at becoming with our non-human companions; an attempt to disrupt the anthropocentric disposition to separate and dominate the other. They are queer, utopic imaginings for botanical and technological entanglement. These forms are full of seeds and codes, if we listen, for evolutionary worlding, unworlding and reworlding.
Each form was first made as a textile sculpture then folded into the virtual through photogrammetry, presented as an interactive pointcloud.
